If you live permanently in Barcelona or are planning a long-term move to the city we have apartment rentals for you. These apartments are for people willing to sign a lease for 1 to 5 years.

Unlike when booking holiday accommodation, the process before you move into the apartment is lengthier. You must visit the apartment before you sign the contract and you will be asked to provide the following:

* A work contract for proof of a stable income
* You may be asked for references from previous landlords
* A deposit and/or bank guarantee that could be anything from 4 to 6 months' rent depending on the landlord and the accommodation

The apartments on offer for long-term rental are located all over Barcelona and they come in various conditions: furnished; semi-furnished; or completely unfurnished. Some of the apartments for long-term rental do not have utilities like water, electricity and gas connected.
